There is a thought that people often have along the lines of “if I knew then what I know now, what would I have done different?” The better question is, “what am I going to do now with what I now know?” Paul introduces a truth to the Romans that has never before been given. Regardless of our wretchedness there is a truth in Christ Jesus that should propel us forward to what now exists for us rather than looking backward to what we cannot change.
